During the shooting of a local food pilot with Libbie Summers and Albert Tharin, Libbie Summers was invited to cook for the Carters using recipes out of her new cookbook. The food pilot revolved around taking recipes that are found deep in the family history and heritage and uncover their secrets. We visited friends of the Carters on Ossabaw Island and uncovered a 65 year old BBQ sauce. Special Thanks to Albert Tharin and Libbie Summers for allowing us to be a part of something so unique.

Hard to put the experience into words. We literally prepared what we were going to ask and who was going to ask weeks prior to even deciding who was going to get to go. On the ride over we laughed at how incredible this experience was going to be and the honor to be sitting with a such a small number of people for almost 120 minutes of his undivided attention.

Living history, stories not inside books, the emotional connection between Roselyn and President Carter through his gubernatorial and presidential service and his perspective on todays current events was the chatter around the dining table.
